Who Was Scott

Scott Dingman was a husband, father, son, brother and friend to many. Scott lived with an unshakable faith in Jesus. He had a generous spirit and an unwavering devotion to those he loved. He found the greatest joys in time spent with his wife and son, coaching his son’s wrestling team, teaching his son to fish, working out, playing football or simply laughing with others.

As a Journeyman Lineman, Scott worked tirelessly, to provide a life filled with love and opportunity to his family. He was a protector, a provider and a man who inspired everyone around him.

On May 31, 2021 Scott had his life stolen, it was stolen from his family, his friends and his community. The investigation that followed was riddled with failures, misconduct, and corruption.

This has left his family trapped in grief, many unanswered questions and a burning need for truth not only from the man who stole his life but the police department who refuses to take accountability and work for justice, a city council that refuses to take action or show any kind of empathy or compassion.

Scott’s story is not just about tragedy, it is about love, truth, fatih and an unshakable resolve to seek justice for a man who deserved so much more.

Please read and follow and help us shed light on this case, help us hold those who failed Scott accountable and restore the faith in justice to his memory and his family.
